Aunt Lucy’s Italian Paste

Originally from Italy via Toni Casell’s Aunt Lucy. Produces mid-season 2″ meaty fruit with few seeds. Described elsewhere as regular-leafed plants, but in my hands they have potato leaves and spare foliage.

2014– Set plants out May 15 under tunnel cloche and trained to posts beginning June 1. July 2, 4′ vines with spare potato leaf foliage, and 8 oblong fruit. July 14, 4.5′ vines with many fruit.

2016– July 10-exceptionally robust plant with 8 green fruit.

2017-July 31  In hoop house, 4′ vines have 4 sets of fruit.
