Canning tomato introduced in 1908 by Bonnie Plant Farm in Union Spring, Alabama.
2014 – Set plant out May 15 under tunnel. July 2, 1.5′ vines with curled leaves, doesn’t look healthy. July 14, 2′ tall, no fruit.
2015– May 18- set plants out. June 28- 5 foot vine. 12 fruit. July 9 – 6′ vine with 30 fruit top to bottom. Aug.8 – this plant is not true to type. Looks like this is really Beam’s Yellow Pear.
